CA Community hosts Mark O’brien and Roger Griffith kicked off the meeting with a review of the 12th Plex/2E Worldwide User Conference survey results, then discussed plans for the community in 2022 and beyond. They relayed information received from Broadcom and A&I on support for the CA 2E/Plex products (you can view that clip here), and discussed the new “aggregator” subscriptions for smaller customers as well as a new Managed Application Services offering (viewable here).
These were followed by two lightning talks.
Managed Messaging – CM First (watch the video)
CM First will demonstrate CM WebClient Messaging – a Twilio integration to send and receive text and email through APIs, making it easy for every CA Plex shop to build meaningful interactions with customers on the channels they prefer.
A Modern IDE for IBM i – Remain Software (watch the video)
Join Karl Haggart as he quickly explores MiWorkplace, an Eclipse-based integrated development environment for the IBM i. If you’re looking for an alternative to your old green screen editor, or a more affordable replacement for RDi, you don’t need to search any further.
