The theme of the webinar is CA Plex/2E Roadmap and IBM i Web Services.

First, CA Technologies/Broadcom Principle Product Manager Dheeraj Pershad Arun will discuss the results of the CA Plex and CA 2E “$100 Bill” feature voting at the Ft. Lauderdale developers conference. He will also discuss the CA 2E refresh pack and other aspects of the product roadmaps.
Next, CA Technologies/Broadcom Principle Architect Arun Painuly will demonstrate and discuss CA Plex Java security feature in a Lightning talk.
Last, CM First engineers Mark Schroeder and Andrew Leggett will hold lightning talks on 2E and Plex focused Web Services.
CA 2E
Web Services are becoming increasingly important for the 2E shop. We will demonstrate the process using IBM tools to deploy Web Services generated from 2E, or developed manually. We will then discuss automation of this deployment as part of a DevOps process.
CA Plex
This lightning talk will demonstrate how a native JavaScript application can interface with Plex back-end processes to create a simple Order Processing application with dashboard functionality.
