CM First & Aura Equipments Partner for IBM i Modernization

CM First Group AG today announced a partnership with Aura Equipments to supply modernization solutions for the IBM i platform.This partnership gives to CM First’s customers new solutions that allow a seamless interaction between IBM i and the Microsoft Office, Linux and Unix worlds. These solutions also open up Window and Linux software publishers to the world of the IBM i, and enable AS/400 software venders to modernize their applications.
The two solutions that are directly distributed and supported by CM First are:
– Launcher 400
– Easycom Toolkit for PHP
Thanks to these solutions companies are able to modernize their applications, using their own in-house skills. “Easycom Toolkit for PHP” integrates natively with an advanced tool named i5/Toolkit, running directly on IBM i platform. LAUNCHER/400 Office is a connection from Microsoft Office and Windows applications to any AS/400 native program, enabling the IBM I to control and distribute modern documents and reports. Furthermore, your native applications keep the control of the process. Developers can integrate new functionality into existing applications, and develop new applications.
