The latest release of WebClient, 1.4.12, brings compatibility with the Apache Axis web service platform. Apache Axis is an open source java-based implementation that is embedded in many software products, including Apple’s WebObjects, BEA’s WebLogic, IBM’s WebSphere, and many others. One use of Axis is to create and control IBM DB2 Web Query reports from WebClient/Websydian-based applications.
